The restaurant and gardens with a gazebo surrounded by beautiful vegetation creating a very romantic ambiance, the courtyard with its stone floor. The fountain wall needs nothing else for a perfect ceremony place, not only the venue is perfect. The food is excellent from presentation to portions and flavor, the bartenders, servers are very friendly and attentive to your every need. From booking our first appointment to the moment we left Benvenuto we had the best experience ever. We received personal guidance from beginning to end making it an unforgettable amazing time! Words cannot describe how much we loved Benvenuto. We knew from the very first time we toured the venue that Benvenuto would help us create the most magical and memorable wedding day. Anne is incredible and goes above and beyond (the rest of the staff is also amazing), the venue is beautiful, the food is out of this world, and the list goes on. I can't imagine ever thinking about having a wedding anywhere else. My husband and I were so in love with our wedding, that the very next day, we wanted to do another one with them. Anne and Conchita were such a dynamic duo. They are truly family to us now. We planned our wedding over the course of two years, and they were so very attentive the whole way through. We kept asking ourselves, "how do they do it?"! We literally felt like we were the only couple getting married at the time, and only realized they had other customers when we physically saw someone at the venue, really. It's insane how well they do this wedding thing! We had everything we could have ever wanted in a venue and coordination of our day. Now, the food. GOODNESS ME! I wanted to pack every morsel of food to take with us on our honeymoon. We absolutely did not fall into the "didn't get to eat our wedding food" category. They made sure we stuffed our faces full! We were followed around with a cart and even got our cocktail hour food. The best idea known to wedding land, I know. It was great, and every food preference was accounted for. We had a fusion menu, Haitian and their traditional menu, and they executed it perfectly! They even had a dual language menu for our guest. We had a special request to have Haitian pate' added to our cocktail hour, and that's exactly what we got! Impressive. I'm a bride who did a lot of DIY, and had to hand it over to Benvenuto to execute my vision, and they did just that. I couldn't believe how well they did with putting everything together. My photos are amazing of our decor, and it looked like I directed them the whole way because it was exactly what I wanted. All I had to do was drop everything off, gave them some pictures, and BOOM! Dream wedding. I don't think I have enough words to describe how grateful I am to Anne and Conchita. I got accepted into graduate school midway, and they were able to take over. Amazing! Deniece P
The variety and flexibility of the different packages were second to none and the prices were competitive. Maria the maître d’, her staff and bartenders were truly the dream team. They went above and beyond from the start of the outdoor cocktail hour and it’s beautiful Italian setting, to the softly lit and spacious banquet room. My guests are still raving about the food and the service, not one had anything but good things to say. Quite an accomplishment with the crowd that I had. Many others and I mean many have told me it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. I would recommend this place to anyone it was absolutely everything that they promised with a few extra surprises that came from their heart. No one waited for a drink, as the hors d’oeuvres were past that was enough so that people didn’t have to go scrambling, every time a guest got up there napkins folded before they got back to the seat . I have to say it one more time all of the food from the cocktail hour to the main course to the dinner was absolutely out of this world not just my opinion but the opinion of everyone who attended. I think Maria, and, and the entire staff of Benvenuto for making this a day that my daughter and her husband will remember for the rest of their lives, in the words of many guests they couldn’t find one thing wrong only good things. From the moment we walked in the front doors to view the facility, the patio cocktail area immediately stood out, providing both an elegant and warm inviting feeling. We met Maria (our coordinator), and immediately our anxiety dropped with her genuine "I'll handle everything you want" approach. Leading to the wedding/reception, Maria was ALWAYS available, providing guidance and assurance EVERY step of the way. Any requests were listened and immediately acted on as her leadership of the set up/serving team was evident. From Claudia as the lead to Carmina handling only the bride & groom's and immediate family needs to Mike the bartender who always had a smile and never let the line grow, this group and the rest of the respective team were absolutely amazing- and the professionalism of the servers/wait staff who never let a water/wine glass level drop and napkins quickly refreshed when stepping away. Amazing.The food (cocktail reception, appetizers, and entrees) were of the best quality/portions that many of our guests stated were rivaled by no other wedding attended. We can't say enough of how great this facility is, led by Maria and those noted, not to mention everyone else who worked to deliver this perfect evening. 5 stars are not enough to convey how pleased we were with Benvenuto- thank you so much! Everyone on this staff is very accommodating and helpful every step of the way. Anne is like your own mini-wedding planner. She and her team met with me numerous times to answer questions, discuss set-up and whatever else I needed. They find time for you no matter how busy they may be. My guests did nothing but exclaim about how amazing the food was and how beautiful the entire venue is. They are affordable and will work with you to create a package that meets your needs and budget. You cannot go wrong!
I don't know how to fully articulate how incredible our wedding was. To say that it was the best day of our lives would be the biggest understatement of the century, and I have to say that it has SO MUCH to do with where we had our wedding. Lisa Howe and her staff were the most accommodating and professional group of people I could ever imagine working with. I had such a vision for how I wanted my details set up and as much as I worries about how it would look on the day, it was MORE amazing than I could have ever imagined. Lisa and her team made my vision come to life and Lisa was available week nights and weekends to help me with ANY questions I had. On the day of, she was the rock I needed to lean on to calm my nerves, and ALSO feel excitement and joy from. The food was absolutely to die for and as I walked around checking on my guests, everyone complimented the flavor of the food and all the hors d'oevres and dessert. EVERYTHING was included for us at the most affordable price. My husband and I are so excited to be able to attend additional events and dinners for our anniversaries in years to come to continue to live out this amazing day. I've worked the wedding/event coordination and food and beverage for a very big par of my life, so my expectations are very high. Well Ann, Conchita, Claudia and the entire staff at Benvenuto made all my dreams come true. The service was excellent, it exceeded my expectations, the food was out of this world, succulent, delicious, perfectly seasoned and prepared beautiful meals. The venue itself its just breath taking, the garden is elegant, beautiful and very romantic. Ann and Conchita worked with us and accommodated all my request, they also introduced us to the best vendors around, my florist Silvia at a red rose, our baker at Sugar chef, and our officiant Mr. Peter Johnson. Thank you ladies, the staff and vendors for making all my dreams come true and making our day so beautiful, fun and special.
Well, where do i start. I married my first wife in 1980. We rented a hall. They served food and drinks. We got a DJ. Everybody had a good time. Now there's Benvenuto's. OMG. What a fantastic, memorable and beautiful place this is. We had the ceremony in the courtyard. Very beautiful and romantic. Very quaint. The weather were ordered was excellent. We went from there to the cocktail party. A pre party with tons of food. The waiters and waitresses did a great job constantly bringing out food and keeping your plate full and pallet wanting more. Shrimp, crab, salad, spaghetti and meat sauce, to mention a few. There were about ten or more items. Plenty of room to walk around or sit and eat. The bar was hoping. Full bar with everything under the sun. They finally called us into the ballroom. What a beautiful set up. Again, plenty of room for everything, food, drink and dance. The timing on everything was fantastic. They did not miss a beat. We started with a salad the to the entree. We had Filet Mignon and very fresh Yellow Tail. Then a dessert at the end. The entire meal and cocktail was very good and tasty. Also, they weren't cheap with the servings. Again the timing with dancing and partying was spot on. I did not hear one person say anything negative all night long. The bride and groom had allot of time to mingle and party along with everybody else. They had a theme, like everybody does now, and they were able to work that into the entertainment. These guys know what they are doing. The venue was a huge success. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody. If you want to not have to worry about your wedding party, then this is the place for you. They take care of everything and i mean everything. Totally awesome happy place.
I can not say enough about how absolutely amazing this venue is! My husband and I, along with my parents, worked with Lisa to book and plan our wedding ceremony and reception and from the moment we met her she felt like family. She was so loving and attentive and she answered all of our questions. She gave us so many options and worked around our budget beautifully. When I arrived I went to the bridal suite and Lisa had cheese and crackers ready for me to nibble on while I tried to keep my nerves down! My husband and I had a personal waitress who took care of us all night long, making sure we had food and drinks at all times, even while we were taking pictures! The wait staff in general was absolutely top notch all night and the food was OUTRAGEOUSLY DELICIOUS! 3 weeks later and my guests are STILL telling me how amazing the food was. The portions are huge and cooked to perfection. Our ceremony took place in the fireplace room which was absolutely breathtaking and Lisa gave us the main room for our reception which was equally beautiful! There was plenty of space for my guests, the bar, the dj, the cake table, and the gift table. We had so much fun dancing all night! I am so thankful we found Lisa and booked with Benvenuto because she REALLY took care of us and did so much to make our special day the most amazing and memorable day of our lives. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. I absolutely love Lisa for everything she did for us. Thank you so much!!
